We asked you to share about what spiritual community means to you, and we loved reading all of your responses! With permission, we want to share your responses with the global fellowship of Every Home women. We invite you to share more in the comments below! For me, a spiritual community is
A place where someone can truly be oneself…
A place where you can show and share your insecurities and still be accepted…
A place where we deeply understand how much corrupted we are…
A place where we immensely feel God’s grace and forgiveness…
A place where we enjoy one other’s fellowship…
A place where it is allowed to have mistakes…
A place where it is open for communication and new ideas but fiercely holding tight to a healthy theology that casts away guilt feeling and shaming…
A place that does not whatsoever compromise the true meaning of the Gospel…
I take part in this place by simply listening to people’s sufferings and giving a hand when needed. Taking part in this ministry helped me realize my own struggles and witness other’s struggles, which is when I truly understood the meaning of a spiritual community; a place full of sinners with one main thing in common—Jesus.

This means to me a Community where we can be connected together, experiencing the bond of oneness and love by the presence of GOD’s Spirit and embracing the same purposes of heart. Just as GOD’s words reveal: “Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres” (1 Corinthian 13: 7).
I deeply appreciate Sis Bethany Peak & the Woven Team for the vision of Woven community concerning the precious women of EHC. Although we usually are apart from one another, especially during this far-fetched COVID-19 pandemic, we can become even more connected together and contribute as a vibrant, supportive Community within the larger EHC community.
One of my life stories, if I may express it this way, has been that of juggling with diverse tasks and of facing distractions that come with each day, yet very thankfully also experiencing the amazing grace and comforting guidance of the LORD.
I would like to share how Matthew 18: 19-20 has become one of my favourite scriptures: “Again, I tell you that if two of you shall agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.”
Oh, how wonderful is His promise – if two (even only two) of us shall agree about anything we ask for, it will be done for us by our Father in heaven! Our prayers can be powerful, so long as at any time two of us shall agree in JESUS’ Name!
And how helpful is His instruction regarding how we can pray in times like this.
These days, it has been great to get together for prayers with someone who shares the same ‘call’ – in person or on the phone, and then to expect great things together!
And when just a small group gather in JESUS’ Name, His awesome presence is there!
I am indeed looking forward to us, as a ‘Woven’ community, learning more from one another, be enriched by others’ challenges/testimonies, and about some of the EHC Leaders’ latest goals and endeavours.
With these as regular prayer points, and through concerted prayers happening where we are, we can tangibly support as well as witness together, the increase of the LORD’s mighty moves in many lives.
Amen, Hallelujah! May praise and glory increase unto our wonderful GOD.
